Black Sheep Family Martial Arts is a brand targeted at Gen X community leaders to help them integrate more movement into their lives while practicing self-defense without pushing paranoia. It’s primary channels are Instagram and Facebook. My tasks were to design it’s branding and content based on user research and the value proposition.

Charley Harper Art Studio represents the estate the world-renowned artist, Charley Harper. My role on the team of two was to help develop its digital transformation, including its e-commerce platform, Amazon store, original artworks website, and e-mail newsletter. I was also tasked with designing magazine ads and promotional materials. On top of that I produced content for the studio blog and newsletters.

Up World Inc. works with under-served youth in Chicago’s Englewood community helping develop literacy and STEAM skills, as well as career guidance. I was connected to them through Taproot. It was determined that they had no consistent branding. Working alongside one other designer, we redesigned their brand identity. My role was coordinating with the client team and producing early stage mock-ups. I made logo and color prototypes for client discussion meetings that influenced our final design decisions.
